The virtual world of Second Life has been through many changes over the years. Residents have interacted for many different reasons, from community to commercial to recreational to educational.  Don't overlook SL as a medium through which Gynarchy values can be addressed and promoted!

In the past, various interconnected Feminist, Matriarchal, Gynarchal and Femdom groups have worked through challenges to bring about awareness and change throughout Second Life.

When concentrating on our mutual beliefs (not our differences) Sister Groups have had great impact during collaborations. Though SL's overall culture has changed drastically over time, the virtual world can still be a dynamic and meaningful avenue for those seeking to express and even experience Female-Led culture and principles.

European Femdom Community (EFC) Starts in Second Life: A Matriarchal Circle in SL

Recently, I was happy to speak with Savana Blanco about her new initiative to create a Circle of Matriarchal groups and sims in Second Life, focusing on European membership.

As I've mentioned in this blog before (and elsewhere!), Second Life once had a much more vibrant Sisterhood but has, over the years, become overrun by financial domination scams, bdsm places that use 'femdom' or 'matriarchy' as convenient keywords only, and some groups that don't practice true Sisterhood between themselves. The days of the 'femdom networks' have long gone.......BUT.....

Sisters like Savana are on the right path:

Savana's general idea is to create a big European Femdom community. (SL is not always the most convenient for those in European timezones, as the virtual world can be less populated at those times. So far, her plan is gaining some good momentum.

"We want to create a European femdom circle. It means that members will be more strong as we could share information about events and others. The community will advertise your land, and you will join the group, and put the European board in your land as member", says Savana.


While others are certainly discussing and developing other collaborative ideas to nurture better inter-connectivity amongst matriarchal organisations in Second Life, I really appreciate Savana's apparent intentions to build a real Circle, that incorporates a sharing and respectful Sisterhood into its structure. I am excited to see how her plan develops!

Femdom in Second Life? It Still Exists! Ginette Pinazzo Talks Matriarchy in the Virtual World: Female-Led Society

While the nature and conditions of Second Life have changed greatly over the years, so has the state of Matriarchal movements there.

There have always been a number of 'femdom' places in Second Life, and I suspect there always will be. Over recent years, however, the positive, large-scale Sisterhood undercurrents have taken a great deal of damage.

Major networks and coalitions of femdom sims, including those with real-word ties and impact, have greatly diminished. Many are stagnant. A great deal of this is a direct of result of Linden Labs own policy changes, which have severely restrained, if not eliminated, community strengths and aspects. (I know, I have been intimately involved with those disastrous changes. I did my best to resist them)

But it is not just the Lab. Many of the femdom sims, by their own designs and practices, simply were not sustainable on a long term. It is natural, of course, and very organic, that sims and groups will come and go, ebb and flow in this virtual environment. However, it is my opinion that those sims with less-than-sustainable social models, have only heightened the situation.


After a prolonged absence on my part (illness), I returned to SL (about 2 years ago) to find most actual 'femdom' had been overtaken by so-called financial domination scams. I am not against sustainable and positive business models...in fact, I think they are key....but TOO MANY of the 'findom' places are actual unethical scams to drain victims of money and create very poor behaviors. Their overwhelming effect has also been to drown more ethical and honest Matriarchal movements in SL. Try to search 'femdom' in the SL Search system and see what I mean!

Add to this the fact that some femdom sims use tricky techniques to 'compete', such as using 'robots to artificially inflate their apparent traffic, or even paid residents to stand around and boost the numbers. This competition (and the jealousy/fighting/stealing of men, rather than sharing) has also contributed to an unhealthy snapshot of the current Matriarchal cultures in Second Life.

In my more recent research, I have started to find a pleasant backlash.  Some sims popping up that promote more sharing and less competition. More Open/Free Matriarchal Societies rather than only  ownership-driven BDSM places. A strong backlash against the tide of 'findomming' and its related scams.

Perhaps it is time for new 'Femdom Coalitions' where sims with similar positive and collaborative atittudes and work together and perhaps, just perhaps, rekindle the Matriarchal flame in SL

Margot Wallström Puts Feminism FIRST in Foreign relations (as it should be)

It's time for the world to get on track and prioritize Feminist concerns (and by that I mean: stopping the oppression, abuse and inequal treatment of Women across the globe) when it comes to international relations.

Margot Wallström has taken the necessary stand (and of course, been vilified by the swarms of misogynists as you might expect) to put Feminism First in dealings with other nations.


This is the attitude any sane nation should maintain.

1. Alter your relations with societies that still live in barbarism through their oppression of Women and Girls. Make your disapproval clear. Change policies based on this.
2. Do not condone their practices but openly condemn them. Never support their barbarism. I am not suggesting cutting off communication (w/o communication, progress can't be made). I am saying: take a new approach. Insist on helping them improve, if they hope to be taken seriously on the global stage. In other words, put conditions on the friendship.
3. Diplomats, earn the title.   You are only harming your own people, and the people in oppressed nations, by condoning (silently or otherwise) barbarism.  Take the stand. In the end, this will help everyone. Tip: The freedom of Sisters is MORE IMPORTANT than the stability of your government job.
   
   I hope to see more step up (Sisters as well as men) to stare the real issue in the face, across the globe: A society that oppresses Us needs to held in account, strictly, and MUST evolve if it expects to be included in the future.

The Sisterhood means that the world can be more free and loving. Sisters can be free to lead humanity and make better connections with nature,  progress and positive destiny . And men? You can be more free by dropping your arrogance and violence, and learning to worship Us as we lead. Worship, not just 'servitude'...and all of Us, not just one of us. Feminism, Matriarchy and Femdom are NOT Misandry: Get it Right

Let's set the Record Straight!

Feminism: 
Empowerment for all Women, to gain equal opportunity, equal rights and freedom from oppression.

Matriarchy:
Female-Led Systems, designed to create a more positive, loving and free world. Women as Responsible Leaders in every aspect of life, for the benefit of communities, societies and  the world.

Femdom:
'Domination' not through violence, abuse or oppression, but through overwhelming love and brilliance, creativity and skill. Forget the pornographers' all-too-common definition. We are talking about Sisters leading everywhere for a better world for all. (and real leaders are not dictators, they are positive role models)

QUESTION:
Any hint of 'man-hating' in those definitions? You won't find it. For real Feminism, Matriarchy and Femdom, there is NO hate, no destructive plans against men. When we discuss disabling, overriding or replacing patriarchy, it is not out of hate, it is out of love for a better way.

Sisters are continually under attack from 'mens' rights activists' (thinly disguised misogynists, most of them) for speaking their minds and being visible on these topics. Note that is a technique of manipulators to attempt control of conversation by labeling people and shoving them into categories   the manipulators themselves have invented. What could be more arrogant?

No man can 'define' you in his terms. You can have your own terms, regardless of what any man says. Not to say men do this manipulation out of evil, as most of this is habit they have accumulated through years of exposure and immersion into a patriarchal society. There is no reason to hate anyone who is not even aware of what they are doing. You can hate the systems, but not those people, as they are victims of a negative system too. (now if you encounter an actual misogynist, prepare to deal with that, too. We'll save that topic for another post!)

So the next time anyone accuses you of misandry (man-hating), tell them the three terms and what they really mean. Explain the actual positive, healthy aspects of Feminism, Matriarchy and Femdom that are the true spirit of these movements.

Redefining Femdom: Convenient Men NOT Slaves: Sense Our Energy

This is part of a series about the reclamation of the term 'Femdom', away from pornographers and as an important part of the loving, progressive Matriarchy. 'Femdom' means 'Female Dominated' which does NOT simply mean sexual kink. The term refers to actual domination (as in, overwhelming nature), such as 'We dominate in the medical field, etc). It is patriarchal-speak to think of domination as power and power abuse. The Sisterhood has nothing to do with those archaic models.

Men: Be More Convenient
As the coming Matriarchy will demonstrate, men may seem to have little or no use. This is an illusion, however. while they become useless for labour and leadership, they still exist for a wonderful and positive reason: to be fun, loving and entertaining.

For labour? We can do it ourselves, thank you very much. That's a key part of real empowerment.

For leadership? We take the world and humanity in our own hands, thank you very much.

This has some very strong implications. If men are for fun only, they CANNOT be an effort to maintain. That means We don't need to 'control' them, or spend any energy training them, disciplining them, taking 'care ' of them. In short, men must be more convenient. If the plaything requires too much effort, why bother with it? Find one that is no effort, right?

To this end, real Matriarchy is not abut 'barking orders' to men, punishing or chastising them, or acting in any way to prioritize their desires.

Sensing Our Whims
One main aspect of convenient men is that they must svolve to learn and even anticipate our thoughts, wishes and whims. We KNOW they cannot 'read minds', that is unrealistic, but they can get close to that. 

How?
The principle is this:
We transmit our energy all the time, our feelings and thoughts. We are constantly projecting them around us and into the environment. It is the duty of men to become aware and sensitive to that energy. We transmit; they must learn to receive. Those who do not, are not convenient and are less likely to continue breeding into the future. As men see these new standards, many will improve themselves and train to be better. This is good!

So, the next time you want some chocolate, don't 'order' a man to get it for you. Just project tjose sensations and see whch one receives the message. Haha

Sisterhood Means Standing Together, Respecting Each Other and Honoring Each Other's Dignity

What does Sisterhood Mean?

It means everything.

Today I want to talk about how it means respecting and honouring each other.

Men, well, we know what they can be like. Sometimes they feel not quite as evolved as they could be! As Sisters, as we evolve, part of our Responsibility is to weed out the bad ones and only condone the good ones. Sounds easy, I know.The progress of a civilised world depends on Our Leadership in this, and so many other areas.

Sisters must stand together as much as possible, and never let the manipulations of men come between Us. This can be challenging because the manipulations are not always so obvious.

Today's point for Sisters: accepting men who are disrespectful to other Sisters is tantamount to yourself disrespecting other Sisters. How so? Let me explain further....

If a man is cheating, lying, abusing or in any way disrespecting a Sister, We have an obligation to condemn that man for the bad behavior. We have the obligation to each other, and to society.

Any Sister who 'accepts' a man who has done these things, or is doing them currently, is undermining Sisterhood and an evolved civilisation.  Think about it......We deserve better treatment from each other. We don't ever need to fall into the patriarchal traps of negative behaviors. If a man is disrespectful to another Woman (even if she on the farthest side of the ocean from you) never accpet him because you are, in effect, dishonouring her., We must collaborate and share information so that the 'bad ones' learn to improve, AND that they make any reparations required to demonstrate their progress.

Does a bad man deserve another chance? < big question
Here is my answer to that.
1. The man must do full reparations to anyone affected by his disrespect, even of that means all of society
2. THEN, after that....He must be able to explain what he did wrong and what he has learned
3. THEN, after that, he must apply this 'new understanding'  by actively respecting all Sisters

Along with these steps, each of Us must maintain full respect of each other, and honour each other.

With these simple steps, the chance of a bad man turning good is possible. I know full well that some won't evolve, and for those We need to dismiss them altogether forever.

I hope this opened a few eyes and maybe even helped is some small way.

How Men Can Emote: Tips From Boot Goddess Gina of Future Femdom

I sometimes teach special classes in Second Life, on the subject of emoting. They often are held in the secret Training Section of Future Femdom city. (inquire for details!)

Many people have very different definitions of the term, and the aim at FF is to inspire and teach the best practices that really do evolve men into something more interesting than statues.

Here is a brief overview of my own '3 Steps for Meaningful Emoting'. If you don't do these, you are probably not providing the real value you could. This doesn't refer to only 'play' situations in a virtual environment. This are good tips for many forms of self-expression.....

Gina's Steps for Meaningful Emoting

STEP ONE:
Use words to say IN DETAIL what you SEE.
This is a way to prove you are really observant and paying attention. It also takes the focus away from yourself and onto others

STEP TWO:
Use words to say IN DETAIL what you DO.
For this, add even more creativity and passion (and mix w/ step one)

STEP THREE:
Use words to say IN DETAIL what you FEEL.
Now add all three steps together, and do all three as much as possible to show you are active and alert

Love of the Earth: August is the Matriarchal Month to Celebrate Her

1. Find a ruined space in your area and work to convert it into a 'green space'
2. Plant something!
3. Drink more water!
4. Help somebody w/ their garden!
5. Take a nature hike!
6. Take some nature photos....and share them!
7. Study a nature topic: a certain animal, natural phenomenon, biology, etc~
8. Make a short video about soemthing in nature you love...and share, of course!
9. Learn about the Divine Power of Woman and Her Intimate Connection to The Earth
10. Have a Beautification Party! (everyone gets together to naturally beautify a space)

Good Luck and remember the Earth Goddess is Nature, and All Woman has her Within!
